Orientation is our way of welcoming you to Ohio State, and it's also a great opportunity for incoming students to get acquainted with the campus. Learn more.
Veterans Transition Orientation
To better serve veterans and build community among veteran students, Ohio State has instituted an orientation session specifically for veterans, military students and their family members as a complement to traditional academic orientation. Veterans Transition Orientation sessions are held before the start of the autumn and spring semesters. Once scheduling details are available, you will receive an invitation from the admissions office or you can check back with Military and Veterans Services at 614-247-VETS.
At the beginning of the autumn and spring semesters, the Military and Veterans Services office hosts a one-hour Welcome Briefing for all new Ohio State military-connected students. This session reviews the mission of the office, our staff and how we can assist, campus resources, as well as information about using benefits throughout your time at Ohio State.
