Cadets recently competed in the coveted German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge
Competition in Toledo, OH. The German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge is one of the few approved
foreign awards that can be worn on US military uniforms, and is also one of the
most sought after awards that can be earned by service members and
cadets/midshipmen of any rank. The competition tests the agility,
endurance, strength and mental toughness of the participants: 5 Ohio State cadets earned Gold Badges and 5
cadets earned Silver Badges.
