Academic & Career Exploration
When you chose Ohio State, you made an important investment in your future. At OSU, you can connect your goals, your academics and your future career with a number of services and resources that are available to you.
Did you know that Ohio State offers over 175 different majors and hundreds of minors? You can search a list of majors here. If you are undecided on a major, visit the University Exploration homepage. University Exploration has advisors to help student veterans who are: undecided about a major, interested in taking general courses before choosing a major, decided on a major but haven't met the entrance requirements, or interested in switching majors. University Exploration advisors help student veterans find majors that align with their interests, abilities, values, and goals. Visit the Academic Advising section of this site for information on choosing a major and working with your academic advisor.
OSU Career Services is committed to helping students discover their passions, develop skills, and obtain career-related experiences to become contributing citizens of the world. To better achieve these goals, OSU Career Services is implementing new initiatives this year to help students connect with more employers and gain 24/7 access to self-assessment and career-related information. Use the Buckeye Careers webpage to identify which career services office or professional best addresses your career management needs.
